Chakras
The word Chakra from Sanskrit means wheel. Sanskrit is an ancient language with a history going back around 3,500 years.
Chakra’s move in a circular motion, spinning and rotating continuously, transmitting and storing life force energy (Prana) through the front and back of the body.
The Chakra system originated in eastern ancient practices. An energetic system which stores and moves energy throughout the body.
In the Chakra system there are many chakras. In the next 7 days we will focus on the 7 main Chakra’s, along the vertical center body. Starting at the base of your spine and moving all the way up to the top of your head.
The 7 main Chakra’s
Chakra’s individually vibrate on different frequencies. Each associated with a relative color, sound and have specific unique psychological, emotional, spiritual and energetic characteristics.
The timeline of the developmental stages of the chakra system, starts at the Root Chakra from birth to the next chakra every 7 years until the Crown Chakra at midlife, returning back to the Root Chakra at 50 years of age.
When the chakras are imbalanced you may experience mental, emotional and physical symptoms. In a healthy, balanced person, the 7 main Chakra’s provide exactly the right amount of energy to every part of your body, mind and soul.
