Root Chakra Stones

The Root Chakra is all about “grounding”, protection and stability! If you are feeling your space is filled with negative energy placing protective stones are a great way to cleanse an area! These stones are great for Empaths for have. Here are my favorite root chakra stones!

BLACK TOURMALINE

This stone is my go to for protection for negative energies. Black Tourmaline is a grounding stone and helps connect you to the earth. It has many detoxifying healing properties! It will absorb electromagnetic energy. Promotes a good nights sleep! You will literally sleep like a rock!! It is easily found and affordable! Similar stones like Shungite, Jet and Onyx are examples of others like black stones.

APACHE TEAR

This Black Obsidian stone is another similar stone, with similar protective characteristics to Black Tourmaline. My favorite version if Black Obsidian is the Apache tear, which are also know to comfort those who are grieving. American Indian myth said these are the tears of the woman and children who mourned the death of the Apache Indians who died, primarily found in Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico.

HEMATITE

Similar to Black Tourmaline and it’s protective qualities, Hematite will also transform the negative energy to positive vibes, this being a great stone to manifest with! It’s intense in energy, a great root chakra stone, helps to problem solve and creates stability! The legend of Hematite in England is that it was used as a powerful talisman for warriors because it was believed to preserve the blood or life essence of a fallen soldier wounded in battle. I absolutely love the energy of this stone!

RED JASPER

This calming stone is known for cleansing, balancing, emotional healing. It’s history known as the “rain bringers”, healers of the spirit and a stone of courage and wisdom. Known for its protective qualities from physical harm, a great stone for the car to prevent accidents. It stimulates the Root chakra and assists in a deep connection to the earth. Red Jasper is very helpful for emotional equilibrium and spiritual grounding. It gives deep insight into personal difficulties and gives you a strong sense of stability. It may aid you to set boundaries, and it will help you to calm your emotions. The vibration of this stone also gives you strength and energy and allows you to become centered. Grounding you with confidence and security!
