Episode 5

Down the Road

Years into her pilgrimage, Shanna and her cousin go “Down the Road” and connect with their roots, literally beneath them as they visit the cemeteries that their ancestors rest in.

This visit lead to more questions about this land that seems to be cursed with centuries of hardships. Shanna also shares the fear of her Mom and family in the path of Hurricane Ida.
